Jane was born in Vancouver and has lived in and worked in several other parts of the country. This includes Antigonish, Nova Scotia where she was a professor of Adult Education. From there she moved to Ottawa, where then followed a deep call to the practice of spiritual direction. In 2014 she moved to Victoria, where she worked as an educator, writer and spiritual director. Jane is excited by the possibilities her role offers to work with the Communities of Faith in the Eastern Ontario Outaouais Region to establish and nurture clusters/networks that support regeneration and new ministry.
