With the fall colours reaching crescendo, have a pleasant drive to a matinée at St. Paul’s in Perth to hear the vibrant beauties of both classical and theatre organs. And see a master of the keyboards at his craft! Absorb the resounding crescendos of glorious Thanksgiving hymns, medleys from show tunes and spontaneous improvisations on themes from familiar classics by the likes of Bach and lloyd Webber.
It will be a unique chance to experience the two worlds of organ music, separately and together, from one console! Relax in a refurbished heritage space with superb sight lines and acoustics, that is fully accessible and air conditioned. Seating is curved around the arc of the extended platform on the somewhat saucer-shaped flooring from the 1880s allowing you to share a sense of intimacy — an ‘at-homeness’ — with the performer, whether from balcony or main floor.
