Make Poverty History – St. Paul’s United Church, Perth

Speakers include long-time Basic Income advocate, The Honourable Hugh Segal (retired Senator for Kingston, Frontenac & the Islands), Reeve Rob Rainer (Tay Valley), speakers from the Basic Income Canada Youth Network, the Lanark Basic Income Network. Former participants in the discontinued Ontario Basic Income pilot will join us to speak about the effect the programme had on their lives while it was running, and the effect of its cancellation.
Planning for this evening has been facilitated by (Tay Valley) Reeve Rob Rainer, and will feature live and video (remote) presentations, a Q & A and refreshments afterward. We invite you to join us for this event as members of the community take an opportunity to learn about the meaning and implications of a Basic Livable Income.
