Written by Tom Long and Allen Pote, Malice in the Palace is most commonly performed by children but our production features adults and a few children. The play is full of hilarity and great music but it also brings us messages about courage, faith in God, recognition that inner beauty is more important than the beauty of makeup and fashion, that we must stand up for what is right, and that God wants us to grow (and serve) where we are planted.

Malice in the Palace is the Old Testament story of Queen Esther whose courage and faith saved the People of Israel from genocide. Esther is a very significant person in the Old Testament and one of only two women to have a book of The Bible named after her.
