SUMMARY:Awareness\, Compassion\, and Support for Our Mental Health
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Mental Health Week and this year’s national theme\, “Come together\, Canada\,” Parkdale United Church warmly invites you to an afternoon conversation on mental health\, compassion\, and community. Dr. Susan Farrell\, CEO of the Canadian Mental Health Association\, Ottawa Branch (CMHA Ottawa)\, will share practical and accessible insights on how we can notice stress earlier\, take kinder care of ourselves and others\, and recognize when “enough is enough” before life becomes overwhelming. This event is open to the wider community and neighbouring United Churches\, and will be offered in a hybrid format\, allowing people to participate either in person or online. Coffee\, tea\, juice\, and light refreshments will be served beginning at 1:30 p.m.\, with the presentation starting at 2:00 p.m.\nAll are welcome.
