SUMMARY:Film Screening: "Nature's Path to Wellness"
DESCRIPTION:The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) was founded on and is guided by two core principles: conserving ecologically important lands and encouraging people to experience the healing power of nature.  In today’s fast-paced\, screen-focused society\, many have become disconnected from nature — often at the expense of mental and emotional well-being. \n\n \nIn partnership with Pinegrove Productions\, and with support from the Perth and District Community Foundation and MMLT individual donors\, MMLT has produced a short video\, Nature’s Path to Wellness.\n \nThrough real-life stories and experiences\, the video explores how simply engaging with nature can start you down the path to wellness.  It reveals how nature nurtures and rejuvenates\, offering a free and accessible way to feel more balanced\, emotionally resilient\, and better able to care for yourself and others.\n\nTo mark the release of Nature’s Path to Wellness\, you are invited to join those featured in the film for a screening and conversation.  Attendees will have the opportunity to share stories\, reflect on what nature means to them\, and learn how small moments of nature connection — using all the senses — can be powerfully restorative.\n\n“Nature’s Path to Wellness”\nStudio Theatre Perth\n63 Gore St E\, Perth\, ON\n\nSunday\, February 1\, 2026 at 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.\n\nThere is no charge to attend\, but registration is requested through https://ticketsplease.ca

SUMMARY:Trinity United Church Lenten Study Group
DESCRIPTION:Give us this day our daily bread. \nHunger is inevitable in this world. Christ knows that his followers will always remain hungry until all are fed. Perhaps this is why Christ comes to us as the bread of life\, and Christ’s followers gather around a table.\nThis devotional invites you to reflect on food and hunger as a spiritual practice. What do you hunger for? What feeds your soul? How do you feed others? Every meal and every table can provide an opportunity to grow in faith \nFor more information contact\nGrant Gilliland\n6138091399 or email gruntg@hotmail.com

SUMMARY:The Bells of St. Paul’s RING IN THE SPRING!
DESCRIPTION:The Bells of St. Paul’s RING IN THE SPRING!\nI love the smell of Spring. I love the taste of sap. I love the cry of a newborn lamb. I love the lengthening shadows and the steady drip of icicles melting. Most of all I love the feeling of anticipation that comes from preparing for a spring concert. This year the sense of anticipation is ever present as the Hand Bell Choir of St. Paul’s United Church in Perth prepare for “RING IN THE SPRING”!\nThe concert will occur on April 12th\, 2026\, at 2:00p.m. at St. Paul’s\, 25 Gore Street West\, Perth ON.\nSome past descriptors of the overall sound of the bell choir include\, “magical” “ephemeral\,” and “mesmerizing” The concert will feature beautiful and exciting bell music enhanced by many aspects and techniques of bell ringing\, including echoing\, marting\, table damping\, thumb damping\, and one piece of music entirely malleted. You could find out for yourself what these are all about by attending the concert.\nOther performers celebrating spring include Brad Mills on piano and Don MacLean on Cello\, as well as a barbershop octet called “High Octane”.\nAdmission is simply a freewill offering. Proceeds for the Bells of St. Paul’s. We hope to see you there.\n-by Grace Armstrong for The Bells of St. Paul’s
