On Saturday, December 2, celebrated bluegrass and roots band The Barrel Boys will be returning to Smiths Falls for “Carols From the Barrel,” a seasonal concert in the beautiful sanctuary of Westminster Presbyterian Church, presented in partnership with Trinity United Church. Following their sold-out performance in the spring, The Barrel Boys are looking forward to returning to Smiths Falls, the town three of its members call home.
A 5-piece bluegrass powerhouse featuring rich vocal harmonies, killer picking, and a fun-loving, down-to-earth stage presence, The Barrel Boys are a unique staple of Canadian roots music. Informed by the traditions of bluegrass, country, old-time, and Americana, The Boys have crafted their unmistakable sound into a joyful and soulful musical experience.
From timeless carols to original compositions, “Carols From the Barrel” captures the season’s essence, infusing every note with warmth and nostalgia. The concert is Saturday, December 2 at 7:00 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 11 Church St W in Smiths Falls.
