June is Pride Month and we have planned a series of informative and testimony-filled inspiring worship services at Trinity which express a vision towards daring justice.
Please take the time to attend and to invite your families and friends so that we may publicly affirm our commitment to diversity. The upcoming services are:
June 9th – Lenny Emson (he/him) is a newcomer from Ukraine and the Executive Director of Capital Rainbow Refuge and will offer “A Canadian response to a global crisis with LGBTQI rights: supporting those who face punishment for being who they are”.
June 16th – Mofi Badmos (she, her, elle) is the Manager of Programs at the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity. Mofi will join us on livestream from Toronto to address the escalating threat of anti-queer politics and legislation in Canada.
June 23rd – Derek Kitchen (he/him) is a queer senior, a member of Trinity Pride and will address words and language around LGBTQ2IA+ issues.
June 30th – John Pitcher is a gay man with certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. John will speak on becoming a more effective ally in the workplace.
This series promotes Trinity as an affirming congregation ready to be public witness to its values.
