Centretown United Christmas Hamper Project

Since 1977 Centretown United Church has been instrumental in bringing community together to deliver over 100 hampers to those people in the Centretown area in need of help at Christmas. (each hamper recipient has been referred by a social service agency.) As many of you know the need in the Centretown area is higher then it has ever been. Centre 507, housed at Centretown United is now open 24 hours, seven days a week. 3-500 people pass through their doors EVERY day. The Hamper Project give hampers that include a grocery gift card, a gift from Santa and extras like toiletries, hand made mitts, scarves and toques and of coarse chocolates.
