Film Screening: “Nature’s Path to Wellness”
February 1

The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) was founded on and is guided by two core principles: conserving ecologically important lands and encouraging people to experience the healing power of nature. In today’s fast-paced, screen-focused society, many have become disconnected from nature — often at the expense of mental and emotional well-being.
In partnership with Pinegrove Productions, and with support from the Perth and District Community Foundation and MMLT individual donors, MMLT has produced a short video, Nature’s Path to Wellness.
Through real-life stories and experiences, the video explores how simply engaging with nature can start you down the path to wellness. It reveals how nature nurtures and rejuvenates, offering a free and accessible way to feel more balanced, emotionally resilient, and better able to care for yourself and others.
To mark the release of Nature’s Path to Wellness, you are invited to join those featured in the film for a screening and conversation. Attendees will have the opportunity to share stories, reflect on what nature means to them, and learn how small moments of nature connection — using all the senses — can be powerfully restorative.
